July 2009:
Happy 4th & 24th of July! With both these fun holiday's
this month, Please keep in mind your pets. Most dogs & cats
are extremely nervous around fireworks. Please keep in mind
during the periods where fireworks are allowed to have your
pets secured, indoors is preferred. The shelters in the state
are over whelmed with lost pets during this time. If you have
lost your dog or cat, please visit your area shelters ASAP.
Shelters get so overwhelmed that they run out of space fast
during these periods, which results in many animals being put
down. Keep in mind to check all shelters in your area, dogs
and cats can run extremely far. We hope you have a very fun,
and exciting July.
With the weather
starting to warm up, and the rain starting to clear out. Please
make sure that all outside pets have enough shade all day long,
and plenty of fresh cool water. With the hotter temps coming
just around the corner, it's best to bring your pets inside
during the hottest times during the day.
